Inspired by Icelandic folklore, "Stolen Tallow" tells the tale of Yule Lads rewarding the well-behaved children of the locale. According to legend, the Yule Lads come from a dank cave in the forest, one by one to pass their judgement on children who've gingerly placed their shoes on the windowsill, anxiously awaiting their reward or punishment, consisting of treats or rotten vegetables.

But Grýla and her Yule Lads aren't the only things to fear at this time of year...

While the Yule Lads are snatching up crumbs, stealing sausages, and licking all of your dirty dishes, the Christmas Cat is eating all the kiddies with tattered clothing! Don your finest kuldagalli, and make sure to be properly shod, the dreaded Cat is always watching.
