DANIIEL The imagination on display from this label is honestly a sight to behold - inspiring, really. Destroy All Astro-Mages is as creative as it is enjoyable. Never pedantic, and certainly never boring. The synth work hearkens back to the 70s-to-early-80s avantgarde and New Age musings, while the personality of its composer rings true; and quite honestly, this label makes me smile, and I always support that. Favorite track: II - Spellbreaker Seventy One.

"DESTROY ALL ASTROMAGES!" is a drone-driven anti-homage to the interstellar rock band, who was the main inspiration. A journey into the nightmare of the galaxies beyond our realm, the cosmonaut sets off on a mission to destroy all Astro-Mages, including himself. Listen as our hero tumbles aimlessly, constantly swirling and twirling through the deep recesses of drone space to his imminent doom, a celestial tomb.

Recording performed by The Droning Astro-Mages of the Front Range
Recorded using a Casiotone ct-s200, Yamaha VSS30 and Korg Minilogue with an array of guitar effects pedals through Ampeg, Orange, and Fender amplifiers.

Listen as The Astro-Mage tumbles aimlessly, constantly swirling and twirling through the deep recesses of space to his doom. Recorded live onto tape in one take by the cosmonauts of drone space.
